I, a 48F, have been solo travelling for nearly a year now and so far, the longest I have stayed in 1 accommodation is 2 weeks. One of the reasons for moving around so much is because I travel to see metal bands and with a goal of visiting every country in Europe. On this, and with previous trips, I have almost completed that ( including visits to microstates and unofficial countries) and in most cases have stayed in at least the capital and the 2nd city, often for longer than 2 weeks in the country overall. I have also been to Africa and Asia and have separate plans to return there and the Middle East later so am only considering Europe now. I need to basically just recharge somewhere before my next adventure in August, spending several months travelling by train through Russia, Asia and the 'Stans. By July I will have stayed everywhere in Europe that's considered cheap. I am unsure whether I want to stay in a city I've been to before, or a new one, so am open to both options. I am looking for somewhere to 'live' - so an apartment where I can fully unpack and relax indoors without feeling I'm missing out on sights etc, rather than somewhere with a month of excitement and 100s of sights.

You cross on the chain ferry from the end of the sandbanks peninsula and it's a 4 mins crossing and cost £4. 10 currently but can go by foot or bike. The start of the beach is right by the left of the exit to the ferry. You pay for the ferry on the exit or entry on the studland side. You can park just passed the ferry pay point(pay and display) or park on the road for free a bit further on. You can drive on about a mile and park in the national trust knoll car park pay and display. The beach is a beautiful and wide soft sandy beach stretching for miles and you can walk your dog from 1 oct onwards. At the knoll car park there is a resturant( average) and water sports with plenty of equipment to hire.
