Whalers Cove Guest Services & Amenities include on-site check-in, bell service and concierge, large private lanai, fully equipped kitchens, dining area, washer/dryer, and daily housekeeping service. Whalers Cove guests also enjoy hot tub and sauna, ocean-side pool, and nearby tennis courts for the perfect physical workout in paradise. An excellent swimming/snorkeling beach is about a 5 minute walk. From the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook: The grounds are manicured and quite nice but they really outdid themselves on the rooms. Though individually owned and decorated, they are expensively furnished. (You know it's expensive when there is koa floor trim in the closet. ) Some of the suites are as opulent as any we've seen. The resort is very quiet, and they provide more personalized service than you will find elsewhere. (They will even do your grocery shopping before you arrive and stock your refrigerator. ) Very clean.

Mahalo for taking the time to share your experience! We agree with you about the mornings! It's so nice to wake up to the ocean! We will be sure to share your comments about condo 122 with the owner! Mahalo Nui Loa! Heidi T wrote a review Aug 2019 Pittstown, New Jersey 37 contributions 61 helpful votes We stayed in Unit 122 for 3 nights and were a little disappointed. Although nothing could be done about the temperature with no trade winds, we still found it hard to believe that there was no AC in any of the units. Eileen was very helpful at check in and had our room ready early. She did provide us with extra fans for the condo since it was so hot and humid. Our view was unbelievable and provided us with the sounds of the crashing waves and the parakeets at night. The condo is in desperate need of renovation. All of the furniture looked worn and the kitchen and bathrooms were stuck in the early 80's. We had our 2 adult children with us and they shared a room with 2 twin beds which were old and dingy.

We stayed in an Oceanfront condo (134) which had tons of room and an amazing view. We especially appreciated being able to make our food in the fully equipped kitchen and being able to enjoy it on the lanai. This breakfast beats any restaurant that I can think of! We were looking for a place to crash at night after eventful days exploring the beauty of Kuau'i and this place was perfect for that. We rented a vehicle and onsite parking was readily available. I think staying in the room during the day would have been a bit of a challenge as it can get quite warm. Perhaps the condo owners or even the management could invest in some kind of portable air conditioning solution for such things.
